Username and Password

As a student of Dundee and Angus College you are automatically provided with a college username. Your username will be a 7 digit number, followed by @dundeeandangus.ac.uk (where studentID is your student number eg 1000056).

You set up your password as part of your registration process.

You can reset your password by visiting Office.com from a computer or other device, click Sign-in, type in your Email address and click Forgotten my password option and the process will walk your through a password reset. If you are not sure how to do this, why not watch our How to Reset Your Password video.

Remember to change your password regularly and keep it safe. Do not disclose your password to anybody else.

Multi Factor Authentication (MFA)

Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) has now been added to the College’s network to make it more secure. When you first log into the network you will be promoted to set this up. To find out how to do this, watch the short video below. You can choose to set this up using your mobile phone or by using the Microsoft Authenticator App.

College Email

As a student of Dundee and Angus College you are automatically provided with a College email. Your email address will be studentID@dundeeandangus.ac.uk (where studentID is your student number eg1000056).

You must use your College email account for all email correspondence with your lecturers or the College.

You should check for email correspondence on a regular basis to be sure you don’t miss important information. Your College email account will only remain active for as long as you are a student with the College.

College WiFi

If you have a mobile device or laptop within the College you may want to connect to Eduroam – our free wireless Wi-Fi service. Eduroam is accessible at most college and university campuses throughout the UK and will give you free access to the Internet whilst you are a student at the College.

To connect to Eduroam whilst on campus, select Eduroam from the WiFi options of your device.  For further support download our helpful guides below.

Office 365 (Download and Use for Free at Home)

The Office 365 Online Apps can be accessed from any device with internet connection when you sign into office.com with your college credentials. All Dundee and Angus College students can download Office 365, giving you access to the Microsoft suite of desktop apps onto up to four devices, free of charge, if your device supports these desktop apps.

  • Go to Office.com
  • Log in using your College email address and password
  • Click on the office package you wish to use, Word, PowerPoint, etc and it will open an online version of the software
  • To install office to your device click Install Office and select Office 365 Apps
  • Click Install Office 365 Apps
  • Click on download files
  • Click run
  • Click yes
  • Installation will begin

Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams is used to hold our online classes, accessing your course learning materials and communicating with your lecturers.

To open Microsoft Teams from a College laptop or PC, search for Teams in the search box at the bottom of your screen. This should already be installed for you. When it appears, click on the app to open it.  

Alternatively go to Office.com, sign in using your College credentials and then select Teams.
